Top rankings in google guaranteed by Mike Brown

Ok, we all want to get our Real Estate Sites to the top of Google.
Guess what? It’s not that hard. Unfortunately there is no magic potion you can drink or magic dust to shake on your computer that will get you there. I am not an SEO god but I have been pretty successful at getting my websites to come up on the first page of google. It’s a lot of time consuming grunt work. First you need to start with a plan. You have little hope for ranking #1 for the keyword “Best Realtor in the world” I already hold that title. You do however have a pretty good chance of ranking in the top three for a keyword like “My town condos”, “My town lake homes” or even “My town new construction homes”

Before you go to promote your site you need to make sure your page has been optimized for your particular keywords.

Step 1. The basics of optimizing are as follows.

  1. Make sure your page title says something like “My town condos sales specialist Joe Smith Realtor”
  2. Make sure that near the top of your page in H1 headers you have the term “My town Condos”
  3. Make sure you have a paragraph or two of text with the term “My town condos” liberally sprinkled throughout the text.

You now have a relatively well optimized page for the search term “My Town Condos” For every term you wish to rank well for you should create a similar page exactly the same way. Yes this means if you want to rank well for dozens of different search terms you should have dozens of different pages.

Step 2. Promoting Your Site. Unfortunately it seems as though the magic in promoting your site is nothing more than collecting all of the links you can back to your site. Different links have different weight and there are many tools out there to measure this weight but it is a time consuming process. The easiest way I have found to collect links is to copy what other successful web Realtors have already done. The easiest way is to do a Google search for who links to these sites. This is a simple process.

  1. Go to google and type in “BIG TOWN Real Estate” Replace “Big Town” with any major city. I’ll use New York.
  2. Pick a few of the top ranking sites from these results and copy their web addresses. I’ll use “http://www.halstead.com/” #3 for the keyword “New York Real Estate”
  3. type “Links: www.halstead.com” into the search bar and hit return. Today it looks like he has around 806 inbound links from other sites. Now all you have to do is go look at all of them and submit your info into their “submit your site” links. Using this method is boring, repetitious, and a real pain but it works like a charm. Once you have collected Halstead.coms 806 links try the next real estate company from the google results. There is a never ending list of Realtor links to copy. Better yet pay your high school kid and their friends to do this for you while you play golf.

This is just one of many ways to promote your site and certainly one of the easiest. After just a few weeks of this you will either loose your mind or find out that you are starting to crawl up the search engine result pages.

More sure fire methods to rank well on google will be included in my next article. Goodnight for now, I’ve got to go collect some more links.

But Mike, you left out a whole lot of important information about what to post at all these sites where you go to get the links! What about the sites that don’t have a “submit your site” Link?

Just skip the sites without some method to insert your link and move on to the next one. There are more than enough of them that do. As for what to post in your link, If I am trying to bring traffic to my condo page I will use “My town condos” as the title, www.mywebsite.com/mytown-condos.html as the link and then I’ll throw in a little something like “Mike Brown is an expert Condo seller and you should use him as your Realtor” Thats it! Easy as pie.

Wow Mike! This is a really cool blog theme, I like how you can change the whole look of the page just by clicking the little boxes at the top of the page!

Thanks ADMIN, I wish I could take the credit but some other guys built the theme. I just downloaded it as a test to see what it looked like.
